"Thanks to God it is not the first important challenge in my life, in 2006 I took a decision that left me without running almost for a complete year, but I can say to you that I learned much of it and when I had the opportunity I her was useful to 1000 %. The NASCAR Sprint Cup and the Formula 1 have thrown big trowelfuls of land to Quiroga's aspirations in the Truck Series, so Fedex and Telcel have had to dedicate big resources to the already existing sponsorships in the above mentioned categories, of there the problems of Germán's sponsorship:
"The step for Telcel and Fedex has been complicated by the commitments acquired beforehand. In case of Telcel, the F1, and Fedex's case, the NASCAR Sprint CUP. I do not reject that it could rescue anything, but for the budget that is needed in the Trucks it is difficult in these moments for both"
Lamentably, the NASCAR does not stop becoming set in Mexico, and there are different the pilots' examples that have traversed the complete season in NASCAR USA, and up to others that have gained careers, as Rogelio Lopez. In all the cases, these pilots have returned to Mexico, for one or another reason, before the inability to continue his sports career in the neighboring country, though Germán believes that it is a problem of support to the sport in general.
"Carlos Contreras and Michel Jourdain have been the only ones in traversing of complete time at least a season in the Trucks, but of it already it has several years and the knowledge in NASCAR's Mexico was very poor; I believe that nowadays there are many more possibilities, though being sincere, there is a lack of important support in the country towards the sport in general. If only the publicists saw the impact that a Hispanic can have in NASCAR's National division that is transmitted live in USA, Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia … in more than 9 million televisions, I am sure that they would be investing there with results very much bigger than the awaited ones. For sample a button: Adrián Fernandez in Champ Car was filling the car-racing tracks and it was the best epoch of the category in many years of crisis"
That all the eyes are dependent on Czech Perez in the F1 it does not discourage Germán Quiroga, in fact, he believes that it is positive for the driving in general and for the NASCAR Toyota Series especially:
"Definitively I believe that it helps to have a pilot in F1 because more people speak about the driving, but it is necessary to have a pilot in NASCAR and other one in WRC, and it serious very importantly for our country worldwide"
Shortly, we will have news on the future of Germán Quiroga in the American NASCAR. Ojalá that is for good and rapidly.
