Kentucky post race report

COMPÁRTELO
The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series UNOH 225 at Kentucky Speedway is proof that there's more than horse racing going on in the Bluegrass State. The truck series is arguably the most exciting motor racing series and the Thursday night race was certainly not a disappointment.

Kentucky Speedway has the reputation of having a really rough surface to race on and the correct truck setup is critical in a race such as this. Red Horse Racing continued to demonstrate the depth in their teams that are behind the drivers. All three of the Red Horse Racing teams were competitive during the 150-lap race due to having their Toyota Tundras set up correctly for the track conditions and making the right adjustments when the opportunities were presented.

Germán Quiroga and his No. 77 Red Horse Racing team is currently on the momentum train. Announced earlier this week, OtterBox signed on for a nine-race sponsorship package with Quiroga beginning with this weekend's UNOH 225 at Kentucky Speedway.

Quiroga proudly sported his new black and yellow colors at the 1.5-mile track and qualified in the eighth position. Since the 1.5-mile tri-oval has a reputation for having a really rough surface, it appeared Quiroga had an OtterBox protecting his Toyota tundra during the course of the 150-lap race. The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Rookie of the Year contender continues to show his considerable talent. He adapted to the track, tuned in his Tundra and showed his patience bringing home his second consecutive top-10 finish. His eighth place-finish moves Quiroga up to 16th-place in the driver point standings, up three positions from the previous race.

Germán Quiroga talks about his race at Kentucky Speedway:

"I'm very happy for the No. 77 OtterBox Toyota Tundra. It was a very good race. We were fast in practice, finishing sixth and fourth and then qualified eighth. We knew we could take a risk of putting the truck a little loose. I'm happy with a top-10 and hopefully we can get better with every weekend. This was good race for the rookie points and that's what we're looking for"
