Bristol race advance

This Week's NET10 Wireless Toyota Tundra at Bristol Motor Speedway... Germán Quiroga will be competing in chassis No. 008 in the UNOH 200 presented by ZLOOP at Bristol Motor Speedway on Wednesday, Aug. 20. This is the same Toyota Tundra that he drove to a top-10 finish at Charlotte Motor Speedway in May, and earned two top-five finishes with in 2013, at Texas Motor Speedway (June) and Pocono Raceway (August), finishing third in both races.

Quiroga at Bristol Motor Speedway... Quiroga has one previous start at Bristol Motor Speedway (August 2013) where he qualified fifth. In seven NASCAR Camping World Truck Series starts at short tracks (less than one mile in length) he has an average starting position of 7.6, an average finishing position of 12.7, and has earned one top-five, four top-10 finishes and one pole award (Iowa Speedway, 2013).

Race Rewind: Michigan International Speedway... Quiroga earned a top-10 result in the No. 77 NET10 Wireless Toyota Tundra at Michigan International Speedway. The Mexico City native was fast during both practice sessions, where he finished sixth and 12th respectively, and earned a 10th-place starting spot in the knock-out qualifying session. He crossed the finish line in the sixth position after running in the top 10 for most of the 100-lap race.

On heading to Bristol Motor Speedway for the second time...

"Last year was my first time racing at Bristol (Motor Speedway). We were really fast during practice and qualified really well; we just had a little bit of bad luck. I think this season we'll be able to finish with better results. We're definitely looking forward to racing there"

On short track racing...

"I really enjoy short track racing. I always seem to do well at the smaller tracks because they seem to fit my driving style. Bristol (Motor Speedway) is such a historic track, and I'm looking forward to racing there under the lights"
